BEST TIME
The southwest waters become rougher in April, followed by increased humidity in May, so these months through to September are best spent further north and on the east coast.

LANGUAGE
The constitution now designates Sinhala, a language of Indo-Aryan origin spoken by the majority of the population, and Tamil as the official languages. English is widely spoken.

When you arrive at the airport you feel very exotic, due to the hot weather and high humidity can be felt. We suggest you start with a round tour after your arrival as the most attractive sites is inside the island. However, if you want to see more or you want to add different activities, of course, we can offer excursions while you are enjoying the beach stay.
