Welcome to the Island of Sri Lanka. Today you will be taken to your hotel. The drive will take approximately 45 minutes.

Today you will travel to Anuradhapura, en-route to visit Yapahuwa Rock Fortress. In the afternoon you will explore the ancient city of Anuradhapura by bicycle, Sri Lanka's first ancient capital.

You will be up early this morning to climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Here you will see the impressive ruins of an ancient citadel. Although the climb is challenging, the views at the top are well worth the early morning. Just make sure to take enough water and sensible footwear.

In the afternoon you can enjoy a jeep excursion into one of the national parks famous for its herds of elephants. Minneriya is home to the world-famous Elephant Gathering, which happens between August and September.

This morning proceed to Sigiriya (approx. 1h ONE WAY) to experience a rural village tour. Start with a scenic walk along the “bund” of a man-made reservoir, enjoy a catamaran ride across the streamline to visit a Chena cultivation, followed by a visit to a humble farmer’s vegetable corner where you will pick your own vegetables and join in the preparation of a Sri Lankan meal to enjoy and taste!!!

Return back to your resort and enjoy a swim in your private plunge pool or you can select a number of activities available at the resort premises.

Today you will drive from Anuradhapura to Jaffna- the capital of the northern province of Sri Lanka.

In the afternoon you will be taken for a food walk around the city where you will get the opportunity to taste the flavors of Jaffna cuisine.

Today you will explore Jaffna with a private local guide who has a great knowledge of the history and its existence over the last 10-15 years. He will take you to Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil, Jaffna Fort, Jaffna Archeological Museum, and so on.

Today you will catch the train from Jaffna to Anuradhapura before traveling to Trincomalee for your final days of rest and relaxation. We will organize a vehicle from the resort to drop you off at the Jaffna railway station and your private chauffeur guide picks you up from Anuradhapura railway station.

Today you can take a dip in the pool and enjoy lazing in the sunshine or explore the activities around your property. We can organize a luxury cruise experience to spot whales along with refreshments (can be operated from May to October due to weather conditions), excursion to the most famous natural Harbour located on the northeastern coast of Sri Lanka, and Kanniya Hot Water Springs.

Today you can either drive across the Island back to Colombo for your final night or take a flight with a supplementary fee (both schedule and charter flights can be organized depending on your budget).

It’s time to return back to your country or the next destination!!!

Having reached at the end of your program, you will be transferred to the Bandaranaike International Airport in time of your departure flight.
